Radiative Heat Transfer in Models of DC Arc Plasma

The radiative heat transfer in arc plasma models of a free-burning and torch atmospheric pressure argon is taken into account self-consistent way. This realized by the P1 method for solving equation multi-band approximation that considers division emitted spectrum number spectral bands. Net emission coefficients are evaluated three dimensions an isothermal cylindrical plasma. parameters obtained accounting transport have been compared with those from temperature-dependent net coefficient radius 1 mm. results show general, applying provide core close to using method. discrepancy stronger periphery near walls, where predicts absorption radiation.
